HighBranch is a small business in Charlotte, North Carolina. This page explains what information our website and Canopy handle, and why. Questions or requests go to ro@highbranch.ai.
The short version
- Canopy reads your files in your browser. The files themselves are never uploaded.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't run ad trackers.
- We only use the information you send us to do what you asked: answer your message, run your analysis, or send the newsletter you signed up for.
Canopy
When you add a file, Canopy reads it inside your browser and does the math there. To sort your lines into categories and write the summary, it sends category names, merchant or account names, and calculated totals to our server, which passes them to Anthropic's Claude API and returns the answer. Your files themselves, transaction dates, and individual transaction amounts are not sent. Bank descriptions sometimes include part of an account or card number, so review your export if that matters to you.
We don't store or log what Canopy sends. Anthropic processes it under its commercial terms, which don't permit using it to train models; Anthropic may keep it for a limited time for safety monitoring. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
Contacting us and intro calls
If you email us, we receive your name, email, and whatever you write. Our email is hosted by Zoho Mail.
Intro calls are booked through Cal.com. When you book, Cal.com stores your name, email, the answers you give on the booking form, and the time you picked, adds the call to our calendar, and hosts the video call. See Cal.com's privacy policy.
We use what you send only to reply, run the call, and plan the work you asked about.
Nightly Tea newsletter
If you subscribe, beehiiv stores your email address and sends the newsletter on our behalf. Every issue has an unsubscribe link. See beehiiv's privacy policy.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, see which pages are read, and see where visitors came from, such as a YouTube video or a newsletter link. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't follow you across other sites.
Things that load from other companies
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when the page loads.
- The newsletter signup box on our homepage loads from beehiiv.
- The booking calendar on our consulting page loads from Cal.com when you scroll to it.
- Videos on our homepage only load from YouTube when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. After that, Google's policies apply.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing ro@highbranch.ai. We'll reply within a few business days.
Changes
If this page changes, we'll update the date at the top.
